What makes the Geolive great is above all the people, who with their sacrifices and their stories constitute a priceless heritage for us.
Proud and satisfied with what he has built throughout his life, Giovanni with his 80 years carries on his shoulders along with his older colleagues an important weight, that of handing down the values and knowledge of the ground to future generations. His wrinkles tell us about a life of sacrifice, honest work and satisfaction. Thanks to Giovanni's passion and to people like him today, Nocellara del Belice has become a quality olive appreciated throughout the world.
With his 30 years Giovanni is among the youngest of the Geolive family. Since childhood the ground has been his passion, so with courage despite his degree he decided to follow in his father's footsteps by managing and expanding the family business. During the year, Giovanni spends a lot of time among his olive trees, taking care of every single olive with the care a father has for his children.
Girolamo and his brother Salvatore have been working in their large olive grove for over 30 years, they are not afraid of wind, cold and scorching sun because their only goal is to produce the best olive in the world. They have their hands marked by the years among the olive groves but their challenge is always the same, to be impeccable and excellent to the point of selecting the olives directly in the countryside.
The team of Geolive champions is not composed only of men but also of enterprising women like Rosetta, who together with their father Vincenzo have invested in Nocellara del Belice. Rosetta and her father do not stop in front of the difficulties of our time, they head ahead proud of their splendid olives, which demand respect for nature and its infinite beauty.
He knows all types of tractors, he inquires about all the latest models of agricultural equipment because he wants to optimize and modernize the work he does in his lands, he loves his work and he believes in Geolives.
In Sicily, family traditions must be respected! This is why, every year during the Nocellara olive harvest, dad Vito and mamma Paola take their little girls to their grandfather Ignazio's olive grove, they tell them that their trees have more than a century and that to make an olive you have to work a whole year.
